Below we have listed the most important facts about CBD crystals. If you would like to try a CBD crystal for yourself – which we absolutely recommend – then you can rest assured that you know what you are doing.

What are CBD Crystals?

The shortest summary of a CBD crystal is this: CBD crystals are the purest form of CBD.

It obviously starts with the cannabis plant. Hemp extracts are made from the cannabis plant, such as CBD paste. And then it goes one step further. Because that purity has yet to be achieved. The extract is stripped of all substances that are not CBD, or cannabidiol. This creates a pure form of CBD. We call this end product CBD crystals. Another term for CBD crystals is CBD isolate.

For the enthusiast we can describe this process a little more specifically. A hemp extract normally also contains substances other than CBD, such as waxes and terpenes. It is these types of components that must be removed for the production of CBD crystals. If all goes well, you will be left with a CBD substance with a purity of 99,6 percent – or a percentage that is close to that. The 0,4 percent that is still included is just moisture.

What does a CBD crystal do?

CBD is typically used to promote general well-being. The situation is slightly different with CBD crystals. It is precisely because of the pure CBD that CBD crystals are often chosen to tackle concrete problems. Examples include insomnia, pain and anxiety.

There is no 'entourage effect' with CBD crystals. This is the effect that occurs when several active substances (for example: CBD, THC, CBG and CBN) act at the same time, and enhance the effect. Because a CBD crystal is really pure CBD, there is no entourage effect.

How do you use CBD crystals?

The use of a CBD crystal is largely self-explanatory. All you have to do is put the CBD crystals under your tongue. Then you wait a while and soon the CBD is absorbed into your bloodstream. That happens automatically. So you don't have to do more. However, it should be mentioned that an important part of the CBD crystals can be lost during absorption through the mucous membrane in the mouth. This is a disadvantage of this method of intake.

There are also other ways to use CBD crystals. For example, you can vape CBD crystals, process them in a joint or mix them with your food or drink. For many, this is a more pleasant way of ingestion, but beware: the effect is slower than when you place the CBD crystals under your tongue. So that's the choice you have to make.

What is the correct dosage?

As with many CBD products, it is not possible to say what the best dosage is for CBD crystals. That is because the effect of the crystals differs per person. Every body is different, so every recommended dose is different.

We recommend that you first read the package leaflet of the CBD crystals that you have at home. In addition, it is always a smart choice to simply start with a small dose: 10 mg. Then you keep a very close eye on your body and mind. Based on this, you can gradually increase the dosage to a maximum of 150 mg CBD per day.

What is CBD powder?

The answer to that question is very simple: CBD powder is the same as CBD crystals. And therefore also the same as CBD isolate. In all three cases, it concerns pure CBD.
